Good day. I own a remote cattle property and I have faced many problems over the years. Despite floods, droughts and cattle prices, my biggest challenge has been homeschooling my four children. They have all graduated now and are very successful. With rapid changes in curriculum and teaching strategies, I felt obliged to keep up-to-date with the latest news in education and development. At first, I did it out of necessity, but it has become a lifelong passion. Many of my friends are now facing the rewarding, but tiring, process of homeschooling and I find that I have become a bit of a mentor for them. Getting country children to sit still so that they can learn to read and write is quite a skill! This blog is designed to pique the interest of those who also like to follow the education and development space. Thank you for your visit.
